Zappos fined $106,000 for data breach

Zappos, the online shoe retailer, has agreed to pay a fine of $106,000 to nine states relating to a data breach that took place in 2012.

Hackers managed to breach the company’s network gaining access to data on 24 million customers, including addresses, emails, and phone numbers.
